Portrait of RW Bro Peter Halls-Dickerson
Provincial Grand Master 2001-2012

Most of you will be well aware of the service and commitment that Peter Halls-Dickerson gave this Province during his time as Provincial Grand Master.  Towards the end of his patent of appointment many Lodges and members across the Province donated to a fund with the intention of having a portrait commissioned of him.  This portrait was duly completed and was unveiled at the luncheon which followed the Provincial AGM in October 2013.  That portrait was presented to Uxbridge Masonic Centre in March 2014 at a meeting of Peter’s Mark Lodge, Temple of Uxbridge Lodge No. 1393 and it is now permanently displayed in the main Temple.

Unbeknown to a lot of members of the Province, a second portrait had been commissioned and on 4 th December 2014 at a very well attended meeting of Prince Michael of Kent Lodge No. 1720, the Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge, W Bro John Edwards, APGM, presented this portrait to representatives of the Harrow District Masonic Centre, on behalf of the Province. In his presentation the Assistant Provincial Grand Master reminded those present of the dedication and commitment of RW Bro Peter during his time in office including the hugely successful 2012 Mark Benevolent Festival hosted by the Province.

W Bro David Rubin, PProvGSO and W Bro Sanjiv Shah, currently the WM of Universal Lodge No. 1911, accepted the portrait on behalf of the Directors of the Centre and it will be displayed in the Mark Temple.
