Members of both Haste Hill Mark and Craft Lodges then presented a further two cheques. On behalf of Haste Hill Mark Lodge for £938 and Haste Hill Craft Lodge for £876, both amounts were raised through the sale of Lodge equipment and regalia following the closure of both Lodges most of whose members have now joined the Duke of Connaught Lodge 199 who came along to give their support. It is always difficult when it comes to making donations it is always difficult and members wanted any proceeds to go to a Local charity. St Luke’s being a local Charity fitted the bill nicely. Many of the members were very aware of the importance of St Luke’s in the area. And again this money will go towards providing much needed equipment for the new unit.
